Smallest Muskie Caught

Here is my smallest muskie at 41". My biggest is 48.5". I have yet to break the 50" mark...

I have no idea what that is but it definitely isn't of the Esox family. It looks like a pretty good sized darter of some sort if you ask me. Or a mutant perch family fish.

yeah i was thinking log perch. but after seeing that pic i'm in the process of a designing a lure to match. mabe i'll do a bucktail too. have plenty of grizzly bou. mabe a few jigs too. i know 'tonka has alot of log perch. and if i remember right so does the croix. awsome contrast.
