i was just thinkin and i was wondering when the carp/suckers start to head into the rivers or shallows?

I saw a big school of carp in the shallows in the Saint Paul area this weekend. I think the suckers will start running before too long.

suckers run soon after notherns run which should be soon for notherns.the carp been runnin late April last few years.

I started looking for notherns last Sat. none yet we need some warmer sunny weather to get water flowing more.

Around Roch, I've seen fish staging at river mouths but I think it will be a few weeks yet before a big push of them start heading upstream.
