I was up in Grand Rapids this past weekend & Pokegama & surrounding lakes were completely open. Can't wait 'til they freeze up later this winter!

Our smaller lakes were setting up real good but I'm afarid the recent 12" of snowfall made have screwed them up a bit. However, the larger lakes that were open, along with some on the small side, may have benefited from the snow. It may have chilled them down enough to begin freezing. Temps today are in the low-teens so it's making ice somewhere. Be safe, stay dry......Greg C.
