4 wheeler on ice

will a four wheeler work for most lakes near Dryden? Or is a snowmobile/ snow machine necessary? Would like to make it up before the ice is gone! thanx guys

Since you didn't get a reply, I'll offer my advice.

I don't know about Dryden but on the Canadian Lake of the Woods, an ATV won't make it 3 feet off the plowed roads.

Got to have snowmobiles. Way too much snow on the ice this year. Some drifts are 2-3 feet high. Maybe at the end of March when the snow melts it might be okay...

Yup.Wild thing is correct but I can tell you right now that the sun has kicked the snow right down already. Been out on a couple trout lakes with the quad.
