Metro Musky eater

Check out this guy in the metro fishing forum that catches a 48" musky brings it home to mount and then ends up eating it. How many people would do that?

Its like shooting a fork or a basket 6 pointer every year and wounder why you never see a mature buck of decent size!

What is described as being done, keeping a 48 inch muskie, is 100% legal. Simple as that.

If you have issues with it, I'd encourage you to take it up with your State Representative to change the laws regarding the size minumums of muskies or make a push for 100% catch and release.

It may be a 100% legal but how many have you eaten? Thats not the point, is there alot of people that do this?

Again..... Per Minnesota law it is 100% legal to keep this fish. The angler's choice of what to do with the fish is his/hers, as long as it does not fall under the category of Wanton Waste, which it did not.
