The Mad Mulcher strikes again, part 2

Recommended Posts

We had another awesome trip to Morson last weekend! Saturday morning on Whitefish 3 of us landed 11 trout and lost 5 before lunch. After lunch we hit the walleye reefs west of Sunset and caught about 55 but nothing over 18". Saturday we fished walleye all day. The first fish of the day was 25" and it was all downhill from there with nothing over 15" the rest of the day. I'm sure they will turn back on once this frigid weather warms up a little. We also tried one spot by Thompson Creek for half an hour and caught 8 keeper crappies. Monday morning we slammed the trout again in spite of 20 mile an hour winds. I can't wait to get back up! Here's a few pics:

Whitefish was better than Sabaskong, but not by a lot. Very tough riding. Stay to the south or eastern shores as much as possible, just keep moving. Those big drifts hide slush.
