Ladies I need some help.

I need to know what the deer hunters here use. I am going to be buying a Rifle for my wife but she is let just say, considerably smaller in frame than I am. 5-6, slender build. I dont want to get something thats gonna knock her shoulder out of joint. So ladies, whats your gun of choice?

I bought my wife a .243, she loves it! Hardly any kick, accurate, and plenty of knock down power to take down a deer.

25-06 is what I used this year, next year remains to be seen, but I did love the gun, I shot between 6 trees with about a foot gap between them he jumped and ended up 15 yards away...

If she is smaller frame, consider a youth model. The shorter barrel and lighter overall weight will give her more control and more confidence. It may not work but take her to a gun shop and try one on for size then a regular model and see what she likes.
