Nils Master auger

Does anyone know how tall the hand auger is? I want to buy one but I am only 5'6" and it looks like it would be too tall for me to comfortably use.

From everything I have read they are great augers.

You should be ok. Its always nice to have some extra length. At least thats what the better half tells me!

I have a Nils and a Lazer - both 6 inch. I just checked em out and the Nils is only about an inch taller. The new heads are readily available. If you take care of it you wont have to replace the head as often as blades on other models. Hope this helps...
