S.D. I have the Magellan SporTrak Pro. The Magellan units do float, found out the hard way. I had the smallest bit of moisture get in, fogged the display ever so slightly. Dried out and haven't had a single problem with it. Unfortunately my cell phone ended up in Davey Jones locker.
  3. I got two of them, a light action and medium action. I paid $35.00 for them and they are worth it to me. They seem to be well made, good guides and are very light. They are every bit as sensitive as they claim to be. Kevin
  4. Frabill Amplifer rods, I got one in light action and one medium action. They are quality built rods, very light and great line guides. I have only been able to use them once so far, but I feel they are well worth the money. They are as sensitive as they claim to be. I don't think you could go wrong with them.
  5. I have a Magellan SporTrak Pro. A great unit, easy to use, and very accurate. It was dropped in a lake this summer and it floats as advertised. A very tiny bit of moisture got in it but it dried out in no time and works great. The only "problem" I have had was with the rebate company. Was a big hassle to finally get it.
  6. I have always tried using chartruse hooks when fishing for walleye. This spring while fishing with my nephew he was practicing his casting and a walleye came up and smacked a bare chartruse hook he had on. I'd like to find some trebles in that color.
  7. Does anyone know how tall the hand auger is? I want to buy one but I am only 5'6" and it looks like it would be too tall for me to comfortably use. From everything I have read they are great augers. Kevin
