Wheel House Frames

I am looking for some opinions on who to use to get a good wheel house frame. Am looking at either 8' x 12" or maybe 14 or 16. What is considered big enough but not too big. are the frames made out of Aluminum or steel typically. I would probably build the rest of the house my self unless a good price came along.

thanks

depends on what your intentions are. day use? overnights? weekends? fishing trips with friends/family? visit the places that sell the finished houses and spend some time in houses out on the lake to determine what you want and what you need. it's a great way to decide which features you'd use and which you'd change..

my house is 7X14, I've spent every friday to sunday (some mondays), since after christmas, fishing out of it. I've also visited alot of wheel houses on the lake and learned what i want and what i would like to change. 8.5'X 24' would be perfect ;\)

I would say go to a dealer and just walk thru a bunch of them.

We all put different things in our house's.

I know when I go with the two kids there is twice as much stuff as when I go with two fishing buddies.

A 8x16 is a good sized house. I've fished out of a 8x22 and fit five guy's pretty good.
