No axle nut covers on 2008 Polaris Sportsman 400 H.O - WHY?

Anyone know why? Won't they rust? All the other Polaris Sportmans have covers.

It could be a cost reduction ploy by Polaris. It's unreal what companies are doing these days to cut costs. I would guess they're zinc plated, or some other plating to prevent the rust.

I wonder if the hub covers on the Sportsman 500 would fit the Sportsman 400?
