Down to Earth
I remember years ago, I made it out on Lake Michigan fishing with my grandfather on a charter boat. Been thinking about heading back and wonder what time of year to go as it will kind of dictate what type of fish you'd be catching. Wonder what kind of fish you all have eaten out of either Michigan or Superior and which of them are your preferred.THanks.
Tom Linderholm
Down to Earth, I usually spend the springtime chasing coho's and browns on Lake Superior in the shallows, in the trout family Lake Superior Browns are one of my favorites while those springtime coho's are like candy to me. Usuaully around 1.5-2#'s.Mid summer I usually get over to Door county for some King fishing and that keeps my chest freezer packed well into the fall right up to hunting season. Unfortunately after mid summer work keeps me a bit to busy to fish.
Windy City Walleye Hunter
DTE,If you are looking for walleye action you have to hit the Escanaba/Gladstone area of Little and Big Bay De Noc, they are the uppermost portion of Lake Michigan and they produce size and numbers that would rival any lake in MN and possibly Canada.Windy
