Last two weekends of pike

Hard to believe there are only 10 days left in the pike/eye season, MN inland season ends on the 24th.

Anyone have any plans to head out this weekend?

Nope not me... Pretty much Im all done with fishing til June 7th... Probably will do more cleaning in the garage here... maybe some woodworking... not sure yet... Good news is that I'll be having a BOAT for June 7th... Just cant wait for the Expo then I can outfit the boat with muskies stuff!!!

Makes me sad. Have to pick on much smaller fish after that.

I'll be out. Probably somewhere in the south metro, tomorrow evening, I have a hot tip given me by a random stranger on the ice. Make that a lukewarm tip!

We caught some pretty nice pike the week after ice out last year on spirit. Big change from the crappie frenzy the week before. Count me in.

I just walleye fish Spirit I dont even fish it till opener. Late ice on Emerson and Millers can be good I'm told for guys with tip ups. Besides I got no pike gear all my stuffs either to big or to small and I aint arguing with the CO about what I'm really after LOL

we got ours using bobbers and suckers on the grade nothing too big. all C&R.

take them home eat them we got plenty. You get and silvers off the grade by chance?? I got 1 up there last spring casting for eyes, and 4 off West casting skies last year. So far 2 on the ice this year, ironicly same spot I caught my last during open water.

No silvers on my record yet. I've probably seen them just didn't know it. Two weeks ago on Little Millers we had 2 huge 'skies come under us and it wasn't the same fish. First one went all the way across a two man frabill.

I have seen her, guide had clients out walleye fishing 1st week of season last year she came up and took a 16" walleye. They got her close enough to the boat to toss the floating stick out by her 56" fish. We havent moved a fish in Millers in 4 years oddly enough casting for them.

i was going to try and get out on wed, but im not sure with my work schudule if i will be able to get out. I hope i will becuase its a long ways out before Dec 1 again.
