winter crappie lakes?

theres a small lake in northern mn about 100 acre with a max depth of about 20ft water clarity is about 6-7ft with a creek almost river about 5ft deep running out of it and into a larger deeper lake do you think the crappies would be in there in the winter or do you think they move out in the winter

You should still be able to find them in the smaller lake.

I'm with Flac on this.. there really isn't much reason for them not to be in there in the winter.. drill some holes and find out!

I'd start drilling holes over the deep holes this time of year. On small lakes, I've had good luck hitting up the deeper water for Crappies.
