Diaphragm care

Anyone out there have a good method for keeping diaphragms useable from one season to the next?

Look back about a week in the Turkey Forum. I asked the same question and got some pretty good advice.

I bought one around 20 yrs ago, just threw it in one of those old-style rubber coin purses. Pull it out every now and again to make some noise, always works fine. Maybe better quality being its that old?
