well guys i just sent in a payment for a lowrance ifinder H2Oc. Just looking for a little input on the quality of the machine. I've heard mostly good stuff about it, other than that it is hard to read the display during the day. Is this tue? Also is it good for using as a GPS unit for a vehicle. I was kind of hoping I could use it in the woods, on the water, and on the road. Finally, Lakemaster or Navionics? Which one is more accurate?

I have used my H2OC in the truck, woods, ice, and the boat. It is a very versitle litte tool. As far as the quality goes, I haven't had any probs with it except for the power cord, mine is starting to take a dump I think. You will be able to see it in the day just fine if you turn the light on. Yes, it is hard on batteries, but I have found the energizer lithium to last ~6-8 hours. I use the LM chip and really like it. I have yet to use the Nav chip, so I have no input for you there. Hope I answered your ?s.
