Largest Ice cat 07/08

Looking to see your largest cat iced this season. Kinda interested to see if there have been any monsters iced.

At this point I'm at 4 over 24" with the largest going 26.5"

Nice fish Tyler. I was cattin last Saturday and did get one near the 24-25 mark. I lost one at the bottom of the hole that looked to be larger but, no measurement, so who knows.

Only one fish for me so far, I think it ran at about 24"

I really would like to break the 30" mark through the ice......probably a pipe dream, but it would be fun.

Precisely my goal... Any body done it yet, or got close?

I had one just over 28" last year. I'll see if I can dig up a photo later. I haven't put much effort into icefishing this year.

Here's a couple I got this year fishing on the St. Croix.

Got the first one fishing for Crappies with an ultra light on 2 pound test. Didnt get a tape on it but my rod is 28 inches. The second one I got fishing for walleyes and was a hair under 28. (sorry the pictures are too good, wish I had someone with me to take one of me holding them.) I love catchin them but have never really targeted them in the winter. Where do you guys normally fish for them? Just find a deep whole? And do you catch alot of them at night?

Got another 26.5", but I think this one has more blubber than the previous.
