I am thinking that I need a Bigger monitor in my wheel house for viewing DVDs & also my under water camara. Can some of you guys tell me what you are using & what you would buy if you were to do it again? Also I was wodering if the LCD screens will freeze if they are left in a house thats not heated?

I personally will never leave any thing of value in my house when I'm not there. So, i'm not worried about freezing..

With that being said, I got a 19" LCD that works great. IT even picks up HD channels when I'm fishing in the metro area. I also kept the original packaging for transporting it.

DVD, I just bought a cheap and small $25 unit.

LCD screens will freeze - just like on your camera, phones, gps, etc. if left in the cold for too long. I would recommend removing LCD when house isn't being heated.

My set up will be some sort of LCD mid 20 range and then my PS2 w/ wireless controllers.

i hear ya - i am in the early design stages of my house and put it on the back burner because i got a new X2. Think it will be another couple of years before going for the wheelhouse.

I do have a lot of ideas and i got a buddy working on a rattle reel light system so that it will trigger a siren/light on the outside of my house!
