Great story! It sounds like Bennett was a great man and his donation will hopefully help out Minnnesotas habitat now and in the future. I hope his family keeps bennetts values from generation to generation in introducing and showing how valuable our resources are.

Just read about it this morning. Amazing story. The guy did really well for himself, that's a big chunk of change for that vocation.

MWA is a great organization and they should be able to expand some now, get the membership up. Send more kids to Woodie camp. This is the organization that brought the duck stamp to the state of Minnesota.

Hopefully they can recognize Bennett Johnson in future association activities.

I hope this money is used WISELY by MWA and it's not lost because of questionable accounting practices! That is just an awesome donation to the MWA though and what's even cooler I think is that his family sounds like they totally support his wishes.

How often do we hear about families fighting over belongings, money, and etc after a loved one has passed....what a shame?

I'm sure Mr. Johnson is up there in the great hunting grounds surrounded by the nature he loved so much while he was here.
