Where's the block heater??

I have a 2004 Tahoe which supposedly has a block heater. I can't seem to find the plug in anywhere under the hood. Any idea where it should be? I skimmed the manual but didn't see anything about it.

Not sure about the 04's but my 98 Tahoes's is on the Drivers side middle of the block kind of hid by the manifold!

On my 04 Silverado you can see the plug (orange) through the wheel well on the drivers side.

You should be able to see it near the oil filter.

if you look on the block up from the filter you will either see the heater or a brass plug. If you see the heater you should be able to chase the cord to the other end. If you see the plug your out of luck.

Those plugs are in there pretty solid. It typically takes quite a bit to break them loose.
