I find bullheads frquently in my minnow bucket and they are good for bait. BUT - be careful they, even at that small size, have a whopper of a sting. I tend to use my hand as a scoop, ( not real smart ) I know I'm gonna get the sting sonner or later. \:o

Yeh! The stinger on them little ones can be realy bad. My dad was clearing weeds from the beach many years ago and a tiny bullhead stung him. His hand swelled up like a softball(literally). You could barely tell he had fingers. He had handled and been stung by larger bullheads many times with no such problem. Because of this I am always very careful when I see a little bullhead in my minnow bucket. Just an FYI.

correct - not legal here in MN. I think in Iowa you can, or was it SD or ND. I dunno, but not here.

Mad Toms ya say - could be. I had the chance yesterday to use them but I opted for the rainbow instead. I did catch a lil walter on said rainbow.
