Tip For Slush Inhalers

Yesturday out fishing in i was using my new slush inhaler,shoved it way down the hole.As i went to lift it my buddy starting talking to me,i looked up at him while lifting up the slush inhaler.Well you know by now what happened.Yep down the hole it went into 20 foot of water.Brand new second hole i was cleaning out.Dropped the camera down and there it layed right next to the camera.Dropped a chubby darter down the same hole and watched the back hooks of the chubby darter hook perfectly on the slush inhaler.Pulled it right back up the hole.Here`s my solution so it can never fall through again.I have a 9 inch auger and the 10 inch inhaler fits just right for it.So i drilled 2- 5/16 x 1 inch bolts through the top edge and through the 3/4 inch aluminum handle.Pushed the bolts from the inside and put a nut on the outside leaving about 3/4 of an inch sticking out on both sides.It will never fall down my hole again

How good do the slush inhalers work? Are they easy to use?

They work really good.Cleans the holes right out.

I like mine. Push the inhaler in, and give it a quick pull. Boom, Done.

To prevent it from sliding down the hole, I just took the wooden handle off, and replaced it with one that is an inch longer on each end. That way it won't fit down the hole (been there done that).
