Lucky 13's

Going thru my tackle and came across a couple Lucky 13's and Baby Lucky 13's (Heddon). I use them occasionally but never with a lot of success and they seem to catch more snot rockets than bass.

Anyone else use them with better results? Method of retreive?

used them as a kid.. best way I fished them was to slow roll them so that the tail of the bait made a wake on the surface.

Thanks Dietz - had not tried them as a wake -style bait - either popped them or ran them at pretty good pace. Think I'll dust them off and give them a try this year - fish probably have not seen one in some time....maybe for good reason..<g>
