Minnesota Company Buys a Swim Bait Company.

Brainerds, Nature Vision bought out swim bait company Castiac Soft Baits. Hopefully this will mean we will see more of these products in stores here in MN. Has anybody had a chance to use any of their products?

While some of their product line is quite expensive, they do seem more realistic than any of the other swim baits. I also noticed on their web page they also have some smaller swim type lures as well as craws and soft plastic jerkbaits.

I've used the sunfish swimbait. I got it as a gift a couple years ago and haven't used it enough to really see what it can do, but I have caught some bass on it. The design and look of their lures are awesome. I may have to try that sunfish bait a little more this season.

I have a small crappie castaic swimbait. They really are some neat looking baits, very realistic.

Ive dabbled with mine a bit and caught a few bass and pike but not a ton. Ive been looking into a lot of different swimbaits this winter and think Im really going to give them an honest effort this coming season.

Definetley going to try this year. In the past, I've always assosiated their lures with fishing in California for a 10lb plus fish. I picture the rainbow trout pattern swimbait that is more in step with a muskie lure in terms of size
