Turkey Artists

I was thinking of acquiring some wild turkey art-I have just about every other game critter in print somewhere on the walls or waiting to be put on the walls.

So I was wondering, who paints the best turkey or turkey scenes? Doesn't necessarily have to be a hunting scene, but would like to see some strutters. I've seen some nice prints at the NWTF banquets, but never bothered to see who did the work. I have a pretty good idea of the cream of the crop artists in waterfowl, a few names for upland small birds, but don't have any names in mind with turkey.

Anybody care to throw a few out?

Check out the Art Barbarian's in the sponser forums. There are several artist there that do some very nice turkey work. Just pick out the print you like best.

We got a Michael Sieve print called "Golden Fan Club" through Art Barbarians a few years back. Sieve does some neat work.

Hautmann brothers have some nice prints and some turkey stamp wins to proof it. I believe Jim and Joe have both won.

I have a couple from a local guy Jim Hansel, he has a great story and does some awesome work.
