Come on guys wheres the interest we have all these prime trout streams in our state and nobody is shown much interest???????

A little more info might spark interest... as of now I have no idea what your suggesting. Perhaps I'm a bit out of the loop, but I have heard of some fishing leagues that can provide a bit extra motivation to get out and perhaps with various weekly goals (type of species, a specific body of water, etc).

But what does it mean to you? If in this case, it is something more serious, I'm not likely to be in, but others might care if they can get a glimpse of what you are suggesting, just a thought.

I'm keeping the official rules off the site for now seeing as they will not be set in stone until February. What it will be is a season long tournament where you will register your five best fish for the month and your total lengths will be added up and at the end of the year whoever has the most will win. $20 for the season with part of that being donated to the DNR for stocking of streams and it will just be a good group to get together for some friendly competition.

I like the idea & the concept, even though my location will probably limit me to a few of the lesser streams in Stearns County. But, count me in anyways.
