best auger for reopening holes

I was wondering if one auger is better at opening holes that have been froze over for several days

I would get something with a chipper blade, rather then a lazer blade.

I'll third the chipper blade. There are several models of auger with a chipper style blade. I believe Strikemaster, Jiffy, and Eskimo have models with chipper blades.

I have the Strikemaster Mag 2000 with a chipper blade. Its a great motor and the motor is a workhorse.

But yea, deffinatly go with a chipper blade.
