Hey, that's pretty danged good. Don't see a bif shot of a pheasant very often. It's just something more to add to my "attempt" to do list.

DBL, I'm the same way but the 2 of us had our limit by 11:15 so I had to switch to the camera. Actually, I've been wanting to get some pheasant shots all season, but I've been going out with larger groups and I needed to be behind a shotgun to make sure that we got close to our limit. I really did enjoy taking these shots. They are as hard to get with a camera as they are with a shotgun, maybe even harder with the camera.
