spearing studies

does anyone know where i can get ahold of any studies done on the wintertime spearing of northern pike? I dont want any opinions i just need scientific studies done on the subject for a research paper i have to write for a writing class. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the Archives. I think the last time spearing was brought up some one posted some web site regarding spearing studies. If you also want opinions again check Archives but make sure you have a full Thermos and a few sandwiches with you.

You should also check with your local DNR/Game and Fish office. What studies they haven't done they should know about.
