Geese

Stopped by Silver Lake in Rochester today to get a few shots of the geese. Silver Lake stays open all winter and it is home to thousands of geese year round. I was out at high noon so the light was tough, but I did manage to get a few. All taken with Canon 30D and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8.

I sure like the pano crop on No. 1 and the comp on the last one. Nice work!

One good thing about coming up to the shortest day of the year is that you actually can shoot nicely lit shots at noon because the sun is at such a low angle.

All of these are good shots. I like both 2 and 3, but probably 3 the best. Nice sharp images. I like waterfowl in flight. Well done!
