I got a 90 skidoo MX for free from a fiend of my wife and it needs tabs. The gal told my wife that her husband got the sled in trade for an older truck, along with cash from his buddy, who had to move to Texas for work. The thing is the last time it was licensed was 04. So is there anyway I can get a license for the machine without jumping through a millon hoops?

Try the Dmv. You can also go to the DNR web site and ask them about what to do. They will email you the answer.

I went through this last year, too. The DMV told my I had to either bring in the signed registration to transfer it, or I needed a bill of sale from the owner (the name it is registered to).Without that, they said they could not do anything.
