GPS price?????

I have never looked at prices, but how much would it cost to get a decent GPS and one of these Lakemaster chips (for Mille Lacs) so I can find rock piles, humps, drops, etc??

How much maintenance are these things, or aren't they?

I bought and H2O off craig's list for $100 last year and it was used once. The chip I got at the ice show last year for $80. Little spendy, but once you have them, hard to go without.

No maintenance for me and my Expedition, unless you count changing the batteries. The ifinder series are all great.

The Lowrance H2O models are one of the most popular. The main question is whether or not you want color. The H2Oc (color) are going for $269 at a store. I found mine on hsolist for $180. If you go with a Black and White screen you can find one new for $169....i actually saw one at the Bargin Cave at Cabelas for $110. You should be able to find a lakemaster chip for $50 (even if it is last years model,) Other then having some extra AA batteries to load in it...you are set!

I just bought an H20c today at FF for $229. They can't advertise under $269, but check that out it's not a sale price. I think the chips were $80.

I got my H20c and chip in October for under $300 combined. I used hsolist for the chip and used a shopping comparison site to find the best price on the GPS. Good luck!

Cabelas priced matched a competteors price for me found the H20 color an LOW chip for 324$. Boar

I dont know much about this. Is the H20 the only brand that accepts these lakemaster chips??

And I was wondering if the color screen is worth the extra $100??
