high Idle ..?

I started the sled today for the first time in a couple months, and it seemed to start ok and idled fine.

I have been taking the carbs off every fall to clean them out and get rid of the old gas in the sys. for peace of mind, so I did that tonight. when I got everything back together the idle was much higher than earlier today, what did I do? its a 02 570 fan

I'll probably tear it apart and start over again but thought someone might have an idea or 2.

Sounds like you've developed an air leak somewhere. Did you dissassemble the carbs? Are they seated in the boots on the engine AND the airbox correctly? Did you mess with the cables at all. Choke cables?

Just a few things to look at.
