Scott M
Neat show on Modern Marvels on the History Channel airing right now. I want to go out and come with on a trapline and the show has shown me a few neat things on snares, legholds, and other traps. And of course the trivia. A beaver pelt in the 1800's was worth $3, equivalent to $100 today.
Muthagoose
I really liked how they showed spooked animals jerking away.Typical sympathetic pr..Modified traps help but if done right with any proper sized and staked dry ground leg hold set they are coiled up waiting. I definetly would like to have a collection of steel like they showed SWEET... Heck look at most of Mirandas trapping videos..

Muthagoose
Exactly. It was the first thing my wife noticed when she saw the show. It was a concern she had so I took her trapping with me.only 1 out of 10 fox that day did she see any struggle. I have released several wolves and even they dont freak bad. I think they poked that snared yote or videoed it right after it tightened down in the show.. The BMP is fine but it serves more for as control practice on federal section leases.
