HunterLee Posted November 28, 2007 Share Posted November 28, 2007 Sorry to disagree with you, but i prefer the hand call myself. I can make the sounds i want at the time i want. We have a preymaster and a jonny stewart tape player, but i like the hand calls. I would recommend getting a hand call first if you don't know how much you are going to use it and work from there. I might get a foxpro, but not this year. I use a couple of name brand wood calls, and a couple primo's calls, they work for me. Blow what you are confident in and have fun. I just picked up the knight and hale lead dawg, a two in one call, both an open reed howler and a closed reed rabbit distress. I also own and use an electronic caller. I bought a minaska outdoors M1 bandit, foxpro is a great unit as well. when it comes to wireless remote control callers, minaska and foxpro is like ford vs. chevy, look them both over and get the one you like best.
