skies_and_eyes
I was out on the pond yesterday, and raised two fish, one was HUGE, the other was mid-40's. Both on soft plastics on the rocks
lucy1205
Caught two little muskies on Minnetonka. both probably 20-25 inchers. Lots of little pike. I trolled for 11 hours. Nothing photo worthy. Ive never caught many muskies under 40 inches on Tonka except one day when i caught six of them under the carsons bay bridge. I have not fished Tonka much this year because I almost got ran over twice this summer by party cruisers, what a sad deal that lake is in the summer. My neighbor caught two over fifty on there this year though, both on shallow raiders in 25 plus feet of water in june.
MJBo
How could there not be significant ice this weekend? Do you think we'll be able to get out? I'm concerned.
JRedig
I think we'll be into ice this weekend. Low's in teens and single digits depending on where you are. I was out on the big pond yesterday, raised 1 nice one, saw some other guys land a 42 that was fatter than any metro fish i've ever seen. Looked like a 50+, just crazy wide. I was gonna head out today, but it's too (Contact Us Please) cold and windy to be out alone. Might be the end of the year for me, leave town for work on Friday won't be back for 12 days. Phooey, was really hoping to finish with a piggie from the pond. Oh well, they'll be bigger next year!!!
Chad Halvorson
I cleaned the boat out yesterday, I dont see much reason to keep it out now. I accidentally hooked a 46" Muskie on Bemidji last Thursday while Walleye fishing. I was also bit off, and wouldnt be surprised if that was another Ski. I saw 3 on my camera in about 10 minutes of drifting, they were chunkin up on whitefish that were spawning. I was wishing I had my Muskie gear after seeing those fish, luckily I still had one hit. They were all FAT as Ive ever seen.
