I had my boat in to have a cover made for it and it took longer than I thought to get done. I went to winterize the motor and found ice in the water lines. I always put the motor all the way down when I pull it out of the lake to drain the water but would there still be enough in there to do damage? I am going to get it into a heated garage to thaw it out and drain it but I am wondering if the damage might already be done.
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
