The_Duckslayer
All of the spots that I have looked at have had not ducks on them for days now. I have been on Circle lake, Sanborn lake and twin lakes. Don't know where they are but hope that some more come through before the end of the season. Good luck, I guess ya really never know from one day to the next what you will find. Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo
waterfowlerjm
Thanks Jim, I'm hoping tomorrow's NW winds will bring some new ducks in the area. I'm not really familiar with the area but I'll probably be out somewhere around there on Saturday AM. Do you know anything about Shieldsville Lake. The_Duckslayer
I have never hunted Shieldsville. I have a question though, if you go out from the landing and off to the left is there a waterway from the lake to that slough back there? I have always wanted to try that but not sure that you can get there from here if ya know what I mean. Up until this past weekend I have been getting 1 to 3 ducks each time I went out. Only saw one duck this weekend and it had no intention of coming anywhere close to where I was. Have a good one! Hey FrenchLakeKid you hunt around that area, do you have any suggestions?
french_lake_kid
I hunt west of town, mostly geese & puddle ducks, but the last few weeks have been diver hunting with luckycrank. Almost any bigger body of water with shoreline cover, you should be good
