LX-5 vs FL-20?

I don't know about the FL-20 but my LX-3 is a whole lot quieter than my buddies FL-18. Not that his is noisy but when we are in the same shack you can't hear mine running but you can hear his. We have both had "issues" with our units and can say that both companies have outstanding customer service. You cant go wrong with either but I think I'd pick the LX-5.

I have a MarCum LX-3 and an older Vexilar FL8. I've had to deal with both companies customer service for verious things and both have been outstanding to work with.
