is it true that MN bait shops cant sell suckers over 12 inches? im planning on doin some fishing over the next couple days since we have school off and hopefully will be trying my new rig.its pretty big tho so the bigger the suckers the better.Where could i get the bigger ones?thanks

Moore's Bait near 58th & Lyndale had some real beauties a couple of weeks ago. They weren't over 12", but a few of them were pretty close.

I didn't pick up the bait so I don't know if they had bigger ones, but I liked what we used. They put them in a nice big oxygenated bag for us, too.

Yes, it is illegal for a shop to sell a sucker over 12". Are some doing it? Don't know, but it is illegal.

Some are definitely doing it. I get two a week. Was fishing with a good 2.5 pounder last week.
