Owning land in Canada

Does anyone here own land in Canada? I have an opportunity to buy 160 acres 20 minutes from International Falls for a song and a dance. Just wondering about the ins and outs of owning land across the border.

I'm not sure if it's different in manitoba but in Sask. you have to be a resident to own land their. I'd say go for it if you can.

I've looked into it, I drive up to Dryden, CA to look at 250 acres with a camp for 60K. I thought it was to good to be true, when I got there the Agent forgot to tell me that you need to be a Canadian to hunt this section. Make sure you know what section that land is in and do some research to find out if you can hunt there.
