Just picked up my spring turkey hunt application. They were hot off the presses on Wednesday. You can get them online also Resident Turkey Application. Just a reminder that they are due on Friday, December 7. A couple new things: 1) Areas 228 and 337 have been combined into area 601 (Metro). 2) New permit areas have been created for 2008...156, 183, 241, 243, 262, 421, and 423.

37,992 permits are offered for spring 2008. Good luck and read carefully!

Just got done filling mine out after talking to my landowner. He said "yes" so fast it made my head spin. He's a great guy; can't wait to go down there. I'm hoping to get drawn for "C" this year, but it will be hard to beat the experience I had last year hunting "D" and the perfect weather I receieved, not to mention the many willing toms.

If I don't get drawn I may putz around with the bow and see how many toms I can send running in the opposite direction. Maybe I'll get lucky and guillotine one.

Haven't even looked at it yet. But i'm all ready getting excited watching it on t.v.

I got my bird last year so It's more then likely bow only. But it was going to be that way any how.
