Winchester comeback in 2008

model 70 will be back in 2008 & it will be produced stateside.

Very good news for me as I am a Winchester fan.

Wow, great news, I'm a big Winchester Fan too. Not likeing the price tags on them though in the article.WOW!!! My first rifle I ever purchasesed back in 1987 was a Win. Model 70 Featherweight XTR in .270 and I've kept it in Mint Shape, I hardly ever use it for hunting any more. I think I paid around $259.00 new for it back then and has since almost trippled in value due to it's condition.

yeah but those are peliminary MSRP prices... we'll just have to wait & see, I'm not getting too worked up over that pricing just yet.

I'm betting price wise they will be inline with rem 700's, A-bolts etc.
