D1A NCAA Football Midseason

This has been a wild year in NCAA football. Season is over halfway done and the makings of the nat'l championship are far from clear. I don't think there is a clear favorite.

Ohio State could go back if they can knock off Michigan in that classic rivalry. South Florida is reaping huge gains from joining the Big East, but have some tough games left. There are a bunch of one loss teams that could make some noise: Oklahoma and LSU, Virginia Tech and West Virginia, Cal and Kentucky, South Carolina and Oregon. If Michigan wins out, do they deserve to go to a BCS game? I'm going to predict that no one goes unbeaten, although BC and Hawaii don't really play anyone. I will say that Oklahoma, USC and LSU will be battling to get into that national title game.

Anybody else taking an interest in College Football Saturdays?

Ohio State just lost to Illinois. Things are really going to come down to the wire with BCS, most of the major players have a loss and a few lesser football conferences have some teams that are unblemished.

I think Mizzou could beat Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship, then play West Viginia for the NC. Or it could be Ohio St. vs Georgia. Or Mizzou vs Ohio St or, heck, maybe Kansas again... Whatever happens, this is going to be interesting.

Your right scott, it has been a very interesting year in college football.

I was watching a show last night on tv, and they were talking about how students are going in different routs, then they usta in the past.

You see schools that are in the title games, or on the top of the BCS 25, that you will normaly not see up there. The fact is, that students are getting into these schools becuase they want to play right when they get there, not go to a school that is in the top 10 every year, but go somewhere that you are going to play every year.

This is why you are seeing other teams getting knocked off becuase there is so much other talent that is going to other school, where there not always going to the powerhouses like they have in the past.
