interference noise when using the vexilar

I have an older fl8 it does have the IR button, that I hooked up to my boat, when I turn on both my new Garmin graph and the vex. I get lines that run thru the screen. I have the transducers apart by about 8" or so. Any quick fixes?

Turn one of the units off.. or get the tranceducers further apart.. there is no quick fix that I know of.

With your transducers that close together you will get interference. Not too much you can do about that.

You seriously need to get the Vex ducer as far away from the other one that you possibly can.
