What is DNR thinking??

distinguishing a button buck from a doe may be a little too difficult to make that a rule. However, i am also for and against earn a buck. to where one could only harvest a anterless deer before a buck. the downside to that is an ethical hunter would, or not willingly pass on a buck of a lifetime. Then joe schmo pulls up to the mansion on stilts, climbs up the stand, turns on the radio and the heater, and blasts YOUR trophy because he/she doesn't care whether or not he/she has already shot a doe. also, do you suppose there were some bucks shot last weekend off of the stand? not that someone doing that wouldn't flat out shoot from the headlights, but i bet there were a few shot. what do ya do???

I hunted the early season and yes the deer in my area is at an all time high!!! Unfortunately, not in my 60 acres that I hunt. This time of year in my area they are all still in the corn or headed to it, my point is, just because I didn't see them doesn't mean they are not there.

Oh well, the rut will be soon, and my time will come.
