Paul Bunyan State Forest.

I spent the afternoon and evening in the Paul Bunyan State Forest by Akeley, MN on Saturday on my ATV. I had time to take some pictures. Here are some shrooms, trees, lakes, leaves. All Taken with Canon XTi, 28-80 lense, pair of gloves and goggles for a tripod.

Cool shots Paul. The reflection almost looks better that the real thing. I know that aint possible but still.

And that last picture, it looks like a cool spot to look for deer. Almost see one sneaking out.

Other than the "blown out" shrooms, you have some dandy shots here. I especially like the last one. I feel that if you stare at it long enough, something will eventualy emerge from the forest.

X, I see what you mean my blown out shrooms. My moniter at home is taking a slow dump and colors are kinda strange on it. I was messing around in Photoshop and using some gradient filters and that is what made it look funny. I will fix it later and repost it after work.

I also like the last one best, Paul. I have spent many, many hours at woody meadows just like that one waiting for something to walk/swim/fly by.

Great shots Paul! I like the reflection shot and the red leaves the most I think.
