These guys are always willing to let you get close and take a picture. The other day when I was outside standing somewhat near the bird feeder one landed on my head. Atleast in my yard the are even bolder then the chickadees.

Nice shots, Jay. I don't believe I have ever seen the red breasted variety. It's too bad someone else didn't have a camera when one landed on your head. That could have made a neat photo.

One time, while out pheasant hunting, I had a chickadee land on my cap, another one on my shotgun barrel and another on the fly of my pants. That was a cool experience.
