Tree Stand Thiefs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a treestand stolen again, one a year it seems. I guess if the low life needs it that bad then he can have it, but he didn't see the stealth cam that got his picture. Kind of hard to see the face but we have an idea who it is, it's nice when you call the cops with picture in hand.... Just sucks when you work your *** off for your money to buy things and someone else comes along and takes it like it's thier own.

too bad Lee but great idea setting up the cam! I have a 200 acre area that 3 of use hunt and I expect that one of the treestands will be gone when we go out there this weekend. We see tracks out there when the snow falls and have even seen drag marks with blood. I am also setting up another stand and hopefully it will be there at the end of the season. One of the things we are hoping to do this year is "trap" some night spotlighting that is occuring also. If the guy sits next to the same post he did before drinking beer and waitng for the deer to cross the dirt road . . . he will have a nice surprise when he sits down or puts his hand in the wrong spot. He he . . .

That definatly stinks Lee, lucky the scumbag didnt steal the trail cam too. We have been lucky only, one stand taken in the past 5 years...

I don't think you can get any lower than someone who steals anything but a tree stand is even worse I hope he gets cought and punished big time. By the way I only use climbers for the same reason, and when I leave my stand goes with me. It makes a lot of work but I can't afford to keep buying new ones.For what it is worth I think setting in someones stand is just about as bad. You do the scouting etc. and when you go to use it someone is using it or has used it and scared the deer away.
