Colorado Elk Hunt

I went on a Colorado elk archery hunt last week. I began archery hunting last year and this was my first elk hunt. I shot this elk from about 36 yards with my bow. First bow kill! My brother called this bull in with a set of Primos calls. It was a ton of fun (and work)!

That is a dandy bull! Great Job!!! Where about's were you? I am heading out in November for the 3rd season, we always head to Unit 37, since I live in Avon for 5 years, we know the area well............Congratulations on a nice bull!

Way to go Lucky! I'll be sitting out this year but I sure like seeing pictures of success, hopefuly in the next year or 2 I'll get out there for the Sept. hunt, we've always done the Oct. thing but I would like to get out there when the Bulls are all worked up.

Nice bull Lucky! A lot of guys hunt many years with a bow and never do any better than that. I've always said any bull with a bow is a good bull! Congradulations.
